Team of the Year Point Scoring System

The team with the most points at the end of the year 
will receive a bonus of $3,000.00 and individual trophies 
to commemorate the accomplishment

Teams accrue points for finishing in tournaments as follows:

              25 points for finishing 1st                     10 points for finishing 11th
              19 points for finishing 2nd                      9 points for finishing 12th
              18 points for finishing 3rd                       8 points for finishing 13th
              17 points for finishing 4th                       7 points for finishing 14th
              16 points for finishing 5th                       6 points for finishing 15th
              15 points for finishing 6th                       5 points for finishing 16th
              14 points for finishing 7th                       4 points for finishing 17th
              13 points for finishing 8th                       3 points for finishing 18th
              12 points for finishing 9th                       2 points for finishing 19th
              11 points for finishing 10th                     1 point for finishing 20th

                No points will be awarded if a team does not catch a
                qualifying fish during that particular tournament.

                3 points for having the big fish for a tournament

                2 points for each tournament a team enters at 
                   least 2 weeks prior to the event

                1 point for each tournament a team enters less 
                   than 2 weeks prior to the event
